Among the spiral antennas, the conical spiral anten-na radiates . Mosko, Four-Arm Spiral Antennas, Artech House, 1990.

Among the spiral antennas, the conical spiral anten-na radiates unidirectionally. This unidirectionality of radiation is required for radar applications. However, for a conical spiral antenna, different frequency waves are radiated from different active regions of the cone. When the antenna arms are very short compared to one wavelength, the polarization is linear. 15. J. Thaysen, et al, The Radiation Pattern of a Logarithmic Spiral Antenna, Accepted for pre

Based on the 1980 text, "Microstrip Antennas", this volume offers information on designing any type of microstrip antenna. The book includes more than 400 illustrations, and over 1600 equations and analytical techniques for all types of common microstrip antennas. In addition to addressing essential microchip antenna theory, the authors highlight current design and engineering practices, emphasizing pressing issues such as broadbanding, circular polarization and active microstrip antennas in particular.

This letter presents a four-arm Archimedean spiral antenna with a novel integrated tapered . Robert G. Corzine, Joseph A.

This letter presents a four-arm Archimedean spiral antenna with a novel integrated tapered transmission line feed structure. The center-fed spiral antenna consists of a radiation region with an Archimedean spiral configuration and a transmission region that comprises four spiral-shaped transmission lines with exponentially decreasing widths. The tapered transmission line, acting as an impedance transformer, provides a broadband matching network between the 50-Ω input impedance and the higher impedance of the radiation region.
