Ric Wasley thrived on music in the sixties and performed as a folksinger and in rock several bands all over New England. In a recent interview Ric said, I started keeping a kind of a journal of my own 'adventures on the road' traveling around on my motorcycle, playing as a single folk act, and later in a VW Mini-bus touring with my rock band. Equally for Ric Wasley thrived on music in the sixties and performed as a folksinger and in rock several bands all over New England.

Moscow at Midnight is a highly entertaining contemporary spy thriller . I would highly recommend it for a fun, entertaining read which raises questions in the reader’s mind long after the final page has been turned. Sally McGrane’s fantastic debut. is, in its observations and marginalia, a whole-hearted declaration of love for the madness of Russia in general – and Moscow in particular

The Girl with the Faraway Eyes.

From the author that brought you Shadow of Innocence, Acid Test, and The Scrimshaw comes Midnight Blue. Michael, a young man known as "Blue Eyes," falls hopelessly in love with a girl with jet black hair, green eyes, pale skin, and blood red lips. But the girl is not the angel she appears. She is, in fact, a vampire. He swears he would give his life to be with her forever, but, apparently, he has never heard the old adage, "Be careful what you wish for." The beautiful vampire grants his request and sets him on a path that brings them head to head with an evil as old as the dawn of the civilized world. Together, they must battle this evil or be destroyed themselves. Who will win? A vampire tale like you've never read, Midnight Blue takes you on a rollercoaster ride full of thrills, laughs, heart ache, and triumph.

Fans of the paranormal will not be disappointed by Ric Wasley's latest novel `Midnight Blue', a salacious vampire adventure crackling with non-stop action.
Midnight Blue is a spicy tale of vampire romance and mystery, which has many twists and turns and some very original ideas regarding the vampire folklore. The story involves a charming young vampire known only as Blue Eyes on a quest to save himself and his (numerous) lady loves from fate worth than death. His allies on this quest are the beautiful vampire enchantress Raven and the innocent human girl Dawn whose desire to become a vampire in order to spend eternity with Blue Eyes leads the trio into dangerous territory. Powerful forces are at work against the hero; plots are hatched and battles are waged as age-old evil vampires band together to destroy Blue Eyes. Armed only with his wit, charm and a handful of grenades, Blue Eyes manages to stay one step ahead of his enemies most of the time; in the end, good triumphs over evil.
Wasley attacks the genre with vigour and style, keeping the writing crisp and to-the-point, the story fast-paced and the characters multi-dimensional and interesting. Historical detail included in the novel is accurate and well-researched, and woven into the modern setting with considerable skill, adding depth and balance to a plot which might have otherwise leaned a tad towards the farcical in some instances. Midnight Blue is not for the squeamish or faint-hearted, and rightly so - the genre demands the reader be spooked and horrified - and as a solid vampire tale, Midnight Blue certainly delivers on that score. The love triangle between the main characters should keep readers of romance pleased, while mystery buffs will find the climactic resolution satisfying. On the whole, Midnight Blue is a very enjoyable read.

This was a phenomenal summer read for me...the perfect blend of suspense, action, and carnality. I was previously hooked by Ric Wasley's depth of style and character development found in his earlier book, THE SCRIMSHAW. Likewise, MIDNIGHT BLUE more than satisfied my thirst for another uniquely and cleverly crafted story.

MIDNIGHT BLUE has a lot of something for everyone that sets it apart from a romance/vampire genre teeming with copy cats and chick-lit. This story has the requisite sex and gore and additionally is chock-full of action, intrigue, passion, wry humor and plot twists smartly supported by a mashup of notable historical events and elements of fiction delivered swiftly and autobiographically.

This author knows how to tell a good story and titillate and he clearly knows his world history and has a sense of humor. It's a combo that works well and will always keep me interested.
