by Carole Mortimer

I forgot how good these old Carole Mortimer books are. Even though this one was a first time read for me, I've read many of her old books and recall enjoying them.

Tangled Hearts by Carole MortimerShe knew what it was to miss out. I forgot how good these old Carole Mortimer books are. This one was no exception.

Tangled Hearts Carole Mortimer. Nevertheless it was clean and comfortable, and Sarah only had to move a couple of books from chairs to make room for them all to sit down. Jason seemed more relaxed too now. ‘He’s just as I imagined he would be,’ he grinned.

Carole Mortimer - the complete book list.

Carole Mortimer (born 1960 in England) is a popular British writer of over 150 romance novels since 1978. She was one of Mills & Boon's youngest authors, and now is one of their most popular and prolific authors. Carole Mortimer was born about 1960 in a very rural hamlet in the east England, and she had two brothers. She studied only one year of nursing, and ended up working in the computer department of a well-known stationery company, where she started to write her first manuscript.

She doesn't believe in fairy tales, knights in shining armour or happy endings. So, when her Ôsafe' fiancée breaks up with her on the night of their engagement party, she's surprised to be rescued by her own knight, Reece Harrington.

Carole Mortimer is one of my favorite authors and this book was very very good
Im wavering between a 2.75 and 3 stars. I was leery to read a book where the H s involved with the h's sister and it just felt so icky that I had no choice but to read some spoiler reviews of that was true. I read just enough to comfort that it may not be as bad as it seems but the story line still seemed tainted to me. So much so that sadly I didn't really get that much pleasure of of the book and their HEA and the fact that they had an epilogue (!) the epilogue seemed a bit ridiculous too. I like that the H was such an upstanding fellow but I something about the whole thing just felt lacking to me.
Love, hate and loyalty all mix in Sarah's mind. She wants to run. But no matter what it costs, she can't let anyone else in her family be denied love because of Garrett Kingham-and her fear of facing him again.
