Series: Drug Information Handbook for Nursing. This book will receive a lot of use and I will be recommending it to young doctors with the following caveat. The list of side effects has some issues. Paperback: 1466 pages. although this was required by our school for the nursing program it is turning out to be very helpful in my pharm class. Thioridazine ((Mellaril) has no mention of QT prolongation (in fairness it should be noted the drug is rarely if ever used anymore) and Nefazodone (Serzone) doesn't sufficiently highlight the danger of rare but serious liver toxicity.
