Warwickshire (/ˈwɒrɪkʃər, -ʃɪər/ (listen); abbreviated Warks) is a county in the West Midlands region of England. The county town is Warwick, and the largest town is Nuneaton. The county is famous for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare. The county is divided into five districts of North Warwickshire, Nuneaton and Bedworth, Rugby, Warwick and Stratford-on-Avon. The current county boundaries were set in 1974 by the Local Government Act 1972.
Warwickshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Warwickshire. Its 50 overs team is called the Warwickshire Bears and its T20 team the Birmingham Bears. Founded in 1882, the club held minor status until it was elevated to first-class in 1894 pending its entry into the County Championship in 1895.
Derek Powers, later known as Blight, is the main antagonist in the first season of Batman Beyond and in the DC comics version as a recurring villain. He is based in the DC character Doctor Phosphorus.
Derek Powers, also called Blight, is a fictional character, a supervillain who appears in the Batman Beyond (1999–2001) animated series, voiced by Sherman Howard. He served as the primary antagonist of the series' first season. Powers is the archenemy of the second Batman, Terry McGinnis. Derek Powers is a corrupt businessman who gains control over Wayne Enterprises (now called Wayne-Powers) after merging it with his own company Powers Technologies when Bruce Wayne's health begins to decline.

Stephen Cross has written 2 great books about paths through the County and he is generously donating all the royalties from the books to local Scouting. Stephen is a former Scout and has been a great supporter of ours in his time as Mayor of Warwick and Chairman of Warwick District Council attending many Scout events across the County. Stephen would be delighted to receive any feedback on the routes. Warwickshire Scouts added an event.
