A lawyer by profession, Douglas seems to have returned to that as this appears to be his only book. The Googles revealed nothing else. And I am the first person on Good Reads to ever claim to have read it so far. It starts off promisingly enough, reading like a cross between Tom Clancy and Ian Fleming. But it quickly becomes clear that Douglas doesn't have the surprising warmth of Clancy.
