by John Andrews

As with John Andrews' other books on antiques this is a good resource.

As with John Andrews' other books on antiques this is a good resource. The thing that made it stand out to me is the coverage of furniture from other countries - not just France, America and England. As with his other books - very readable.

For a complete amateur, "Antique Furniture" gave some good information, especially on eras of antique furniture. I would have appreciated a more "hands on" approach, what to look to guestimate the age of a particular piece, or email sites for further info.
