I read a poem one day that really touched me, tracked it down, and found it was from this book. It's an amazing set that you can relate to. I highly recommend.

If you read her novella "Rapture" and were inspired, you'll find these poems infused by the same achingly poignant search for affective connection with that uncertain other.

One of my favorite books of poetry. I revisit it often. In fact, I’ve been meaning to write the author, to thank her for the inspiration. But a review seemed more helpful. ❤️
