Wonderful version of the Faust legend. Held my interest from the first page to the last.
Umge
A brilliant take on the Faust story. Thoughtful, insightful, and original.

An interesting idea: what if you could be privy to all knowledge? I enjoyed the character's journey as he experienced the frustrations of knowing more than everyone else but also of discovering that knowing isn't a magic answer and that human nature invariably tosses a monkey wrench into the works.
Faulkree
I really enjoy this book, I'm happy I found it.
Mojind
Enjoyed it immensely. Truly explores the nature of Faust and the devil. Really funny at times. Vivid writing style. Much appreciated.
Landarn
It was ok. Hard to follow in some spots but otherwise it was ok.
Pedora
I guess I'm grateful to Michael Stanwick because now I never need to read any other stories about the Faust legend. This is just ugly and depressing. I gave up at 68% when I realized I no longer cared about a single character, and was just waiting for everyone to die so I could move on to another book.
The book was well written and with an interesting twist on the Faust legend. I found it interesting for the first three quarters of the book but it then turned so dark in the last part that I was just glad when I finished it and ultimately didn't enjoy it very much
