I ordered this book for a homeschool unit on the rainforests, and it was perfect. My girls were 4 and 6 at the time, and they loved the book, and the entire unit. At the end of the unit, we hosted a Rainforest Party to raise money for The Nature Conservancy, and our family was featured in TNC's magazine!

I love this book. I volunteer with kindergarten kids, and that is where I first read it. The first time I read it, I almost cried, it was so touching. The message is we all have something the same in all of us.

My son loves this book! He is 2 1/2. We had borrowed it for a week and then he kept asking for it every week for weeks. So he got it for Christmas. A fun game is to have your child find the snail that's hiding on each page.

A gentle reminder that we are not all so different after all.
My two young boys love this book - just as they love The Magic Fan by the same author. It's one of their favorite bedtime stories.
The illustrations feature some of the most beautiful colors and overall design. My kids really like the way the artwork goes all the way to the edge of the page.
We'll probably buy everything else by this author.

The illustrations are beautiful and the content held my 18mo. old the entire time. The true test of a good book is that we sat with it and read it a few more times and the next day, it is his go to book, we love it, and it never gets boring.
Nice story and WONDERFUL illustrations. I bought two; one for my expecting niece and one for me because I was so impressed witht he illustrations. Packaging was adequate for the size/weight of the books.
