I've just finished reading Dr Birkett's book and highly recommend it as foundational reading on the confluence of science and biblical Christianity. I would go further and say that it's worth reading even if one is advanced in their investigation of one or the other, or indeed both, of these area of study.

However all is not lost as Birkett has written or edited other such books on related topics, also published by Matthias Media, including: The Essence of Darwinism and The Myths of Science.
